1. Provision of the website and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server, which is stored there in log files: date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page (referrer), browser type, operating system and device type. Your IP address is stored in anonymised form only.

We process this data in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a secure and functioning website. IONOS processes the data on our behalf under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The log data is deleted after eight weeks.

2. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies for analytics or advertising purposes and does not use any analytics or marketing services. Where cookies are technically necessary, for example to store your language selection, their storage is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and any further processing on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details in order to respond to your enquiry. Where your enquiry concerns a mandate or its initiation, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All information is subject to attorney-client confidentiality (Section 43a(2) of the Federal Lawyers’ Act, BRAO).

For email communication we use Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as our processor. A transfer to the United States cannot be ruled out; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for handling your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply, for example for client files under Section 50 BRAO.

4. Fonts
The fonts and icons used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other providers is established.

5. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to third-party websites, for example of associations and certification bodies. Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click on such a link. That provider alone is responsible for its data processing.

6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority competent for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

7. Version
This privacy policy was last updated in October 2026. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
